Final was short answer. Dr. Garmon was exceptional and she was hard, but you learned the material. Do well on the exams, especially on the first exam.

Dr. Garmon is the type of professor who does not always welcome challenge or input from people who have some world experiences. She has no problem berating students and seems to forget that she is teaching upper level college students, rather than high school students (which she used to do). I am not sure that she has made a successful transition from teaching high school to teaching college students. It was more like high school in that she seemed to have a few favorites. The course itself is informational, but more of a review of the 200 level course in Intercultural communication. She does not really teach much that is new.

This class is great! I am a Comm. Major, and I assume many others that will take this class are. We only took 2 tests and wrote three papers. The papers are long and tedious, but it is easy to get an A in the class. The accumulative final is easy. Take the class!

Cecile Garmon is one of the most offensive women that ever roamed this earth. She has a personality that would make the pope lose his temper and she is so rude that even Rush Limbaugh would object. She has no manners, no grace, and no business teaching a college level course. I'm sure she earned a doctorate somewhere in the USA, but I refuse to give this woman the respect this title deserves. I definitely recommend NOT taking Cecile Garmon. I'd rather castrate myself than to listen to that pathetic drivel again.

If you read the material and prepare for speaches you will be fine. She grades fairly as long as you keep up and come to class.

Very approachable professor. Kind of a boring course to start if you aren't business oriented, but you get into as you go along.

I took this class as a 2:15-5:00. It was interesting and a lot of fun.
