I want everyone who is on this site to know one thing. Dr. Kell is by far the best teacher I have ever had. He should not have one yellow or red face at all. He does talk a lot but what he speaks about relates to the business world, and how to be effective in life. He will help you in EVERY way possible. Dr. Kell is amazing and if you have the chance to take him for anything I strongly suggest you do so. Do not pay ANY attention to any negative remarks that people have said. I have had Dr. Kell for more than one class and he has taught me so much regarding school and life in general. He is an absoloute pleasure! Take Dr. Kell!!!

I love Dr. Kell. I just wanted profeval and the rest of the world to know it. He does everything under the sun to help his students or any Comm. students. Capstone is the exiting course for Comm. majors so of course it is going to be difficult but you will learn a lot. I waited my whole college career to be challenged in a way that I thought whould benefit me further down the road and this class ended my wait. Don't be scared of this class b/c you will be happy you took it.

This class has only abour 4 assignments and a take home final. its not that hard of a class its just hard to go to this class. He does alot of talking about his experience instead of the assignment. but all in all you get alot out of the class. and he passes out a lot of handouts with notes on them. some of them you might need. but most of them you dont.

This class was pretty easy. Dr. Kell is goes in so many directions you cannot possibly keep up with his notes... You will do much better one the exams if you read the chapters... There is a little project for each chapter, they are pretty easy and only takes 15-20 minutes to do. An easy way to accumulate 100 points, each one is work 10 points and there were 12 so we didn't have to do 2 chapters of your choice... There is a semester project that is just an extension of one of your chapter projects, for the most part I think the class tied the project back to their majors, usually marketing, comm, or advertising and you have to get in from of the class for just a few minutes and tell what your report was about... The final is a take home final and was pretty easy...

The class itself is kind of challenging, but Kell makes it worth while. He's a great man and a great professor. Always willing to spend time with you on something you don't understand. The papers are kind of hard and require a lot of thought and research, but you'll learn a lot.

His class was, to say the least, very confusing. He knows exactly what he is talking about, but he doesnt really let anyone else in on it. READ THE BOOK and listen in class when he goes over what will be on the test and you will do great. If you want to make an A then just READ THE BOOK.

Dr. Kell is a very nice man, a very smart man....he's just not a very good teacher! This class was absolutely pointless. All he did was talk about silly things in class, so I thought the tests would be easy. NOT SO!!! It turns out, you have to read the book, and the book was hard to grasp. I did not learn one single thing in this class.

This class is extremely boring and repetitive. All of the material covered is common sense. He spends a lot of time talking about himself and making lists. His grading system is also highly flawed. Dont count on getting a good grade, no matter how good of a public speaker you are, unless you are an upper level student.

This class was very........ interesting. I did not learn one thing. The tests were rather difficult because I did not learn anything during the class sessions. The assigned book was also very confusing and hard to read. Dr. Kell is a nice person, but not a very effective teahcer.

Dr. Kell is a great man. I would take him again if I could. He is willing to help and you only have to give two actual speeches during the semester--a speech to inform and a speech to persuade. He gives a midterm test and a final. The only thing that I didn't like about him is that he was pretty tough when he graded the speeches, and the first test was also pretty hard. The second test is a take-home test over the second half of the book and consists of ten or so essay/short answer questions. Very easy. If you want a good teacher, take Kell!

Better than the other speaking class. You only have to give 2 speeches in this class. The final is a take home final that you may use the book on. Dr. Kell is one hell of a teacher. He really knows his stuff. A super nice guy with a great sense of humor. He's kind of tough on grading with the speeches, but he's one great teacher. You guarenteed to learn something in his class.

He seems like a nice guy, but his class is a joke. Whatever notes you take, disregard, and just read the book if you want a shot at a decent grade. He's not exactly the brightest guy out there.

Boring, pointless class. Not a very good teacher. He constantly points out how much help college students have available for them, but he doesn't follow through on any of the help he offers and neither do most of his sources. He's pretentious. He is an easy grader, though. Most of the class is just him talking. We had to buy a book that we only used once that cannot be used after the shrinkwrap has been taken off.

Dr. Kell is a wonderful instructor. I enjoyed his class and learned a lot! He was fair and pushes you to go the extra mile to get the grade you want. Take him if you want a lenient instructor.

Dr. Kell is a good person just an awful BCOM 201 teacher. What he teaches is worthless for the test he gives. I hated the class and it almost made me change majors just because I had him for BCOM 201

Dr. Kell takes some getting used to at first, but you'll soon get the hang of him. Definitely show up for the class meeting before each exam. He reviews with you straight from the test. Attend class as much as possible and I assure you that you will get the most out of this class. I'm still learning things about persuasion.

Dr. Kell made this course! He is very interesting. The tests can be difficult but he always gives a thorough review for the students. No excuse for a low grade in this class!
