I don't know how to rate the difficulty of this course b/c the assignments are easy but he grades very hard. STAY AWAY FROM HIM. Honestly, I am ashamed that Mr. Lyons can call himself a professor at WKU. It's embarrassing. I dno't think anyone made an A in my class and many people were there every week and failed. STAY AWAY!

Mr. Lyons simply does not care about his students. he grades unfairly and doesn't like to help you. attendence is mandatory and the class is extremely boring. no extra credit is available and he will fail you! AVOID HIM!

Mr. Lyons is a horrible professor. He should really lose his job. You can give a perfect speech and you will not get an A. He does not give A's out very easy, it's almost impossible. The class is easy, but he discourages you by giving you just moderate grades.He doesn't seem to really want to help anybody and doesn't care to just totally mess up your GPA. There is literally no studying, just write your speeches. He's a nice guy, teaching is just not his thing

Mr. Lyons is a very funny man. I took this as a night class, and it was a blast. The only problem I had was that I am pretty experienced in business speaking, and you only have to get up to speak once or twice. I kinda figured speaking was the whole point of the course, but i guess 1000 definitions are. If you hate speaking, take this class, but if you know what you're doing, search elsewhere.
