Additional Comments
Loren Ruff is a nice professor and a pretty good one too. The class is fairly interesting, although there are a quite a few days of just lecture. We took four tests, read one play, watched one movie and wrote a paper on it, went to one play, and one musical. That's where the grades came from.

The tests are of moderate difficulty, but sometimes (majority) he lets you bring a notecard with info on it to the test. We never used the textbook although he wrote the one he "uses." Also, if you get A's on all the tests leading up to the final then you don't have to take the final. However, if you don't make an A leading up to the final then one of the four tests (including possibly the final) will be dropped if it's the lowest grade.

The class was kind of big but he remembers names and makes it okay to attend. Just keep up with the reading, when covering a play, and make sure to take notes and you should do fine.
