Additional Comments
the class was good, he has a passion or theatre. some notes are hard to follow, and the book doesn't help much because he is the writer and it follows his lecture word for word. he may say the book is required, but you will never use it. there is no homework. we watched a lot of movies. you can be exempt from the final exam. however, the exams are somewhat difficult. they ask about things you'll swear were never covered in class. you have to read one play, and an exam will have quotes that you have to identify from it. some of them are impossible to get and are almost as broad as " who said 'Hello.' in scene one?" on two of our exams we were allowed to use a note card for cheat sheet, but this will only depend on the mood he is in when you are reviewing for the exam. if you participate in class and make sure he knows your name you have a better chance of being exempt and getting an A.
