I do not recommend Dr. Ruff at all! First of all, I took 18 hours and made A's in every one of my upper level classes, and got a B in theatre apprec.! He can't remember what he tells one class, so he puts stuff on the test that he never even went over in your class, but did in another class. He totally picks favorites, to the point that it is annoying because he's always talking to those few people about stuff that doesn't even pertain to the class. Also, he is really rude in the way he interupts students. He'll call on you, and when you start to give an answer, he'll just interupt and start talking again with whatever he wants to say. I couldn't believe how rude it was! Lastly, he gets really defensive and mad if you question him about your grade or a question on the test. We got our tests back, and 5 students just got up and walked out of class in the middle of the period because they were so mad, and there was no talking to him about it. You can take notes for an hour, and still have no clue what he's talking about, because nothing he says is clear or understandable, and he words things completely different on the test. Also, last test there were 2 answers that could be right, he even said that in class, and when people started arguing with him about it, he just kept saying "okay, you win, stop arguing," but still wouldn't count it correct. I really regret taking this dumb class that pulled my GPA down when I could have taken another teacher for gen. ed.
