Dr. Collyer is nice. However, she is a little difficult to understand. In lecture she was fine. Attendance wasn't mandatory for lecture. Quizzes and tests were online for lecture and you got 3 tries. However, the most recent attempt would be the only one to count, so if you don't think you can do better the second time around - DONT TAKE THE QUIZ AGAIN. In lab, it was completely different. She did not explain things very well. Even when I asked her for help, she would give vague answers. Overall not bad, but if you can take someone else -DO.

Petra is an amazing teacher and she knows what she's talking about. She does powerpoints but she doesn't post them, instead she posts on blackboard chapter summaries. Her quizzes are all online and you receive three attempts at each one but the chapter summaries do not help at all, they are too descriptive and her quizzes are based off of what she covers in lecture. The best advice to get an A is to attend the lecture and take the quiz right after each lecture if she finishes the chapter. Easy A if you do what I told you to do.

Dr. Collyer is a good professor! Her lecture class consists of a powerpoint with the main points on it and she lectures the details. You have an online quiz over each chapter (you receive 3 tries on each quiz). There will be some extra credit in the class but not much. Your grade will come from the quizes, your clicker quizes, and a final. Dr.Collyer explains the course material as clear as possible, it's just that the material is hard to grasp and so much of it. Overall, she is a good professsor and I'd recommend her to anyone.

The course grade was divided up with 200 points available from online quizzes (you get three tries), 50 points availabe from in-class clicker quizzes (not too hard), and and 100 points for the final (which was cumulative, but online with 3 tries). Even though they were offered online, the quizzes were hard, and she asked questions over stuff I couldn't find in the book and I didn't remember from lecture (and I had perfect attendence). Overall, the course wasn't too hard, though. I would definitely recommend her.
