Anatomy is not an easy class but Mr Biggers does a great job teaching it. He was very funny and explains the concepts in ways that are easy to remember. The test questions come straight from his notes and he will even help on the tests if you ask him to explain. He expects you to copy the notes from an overhead projector but he printed off the notes for our class on multiple occasions so that we could just listen. I highly suggest you take him for anatomy lecture.

There are not enough nice things I can say about this guy. Of course, with this being an Advanced anatomy course, it is going to be hard...but he gives such neat little nicknames to things...any living thing is a critter, we are made up of DNA sketti, he is sometimes cornfused...you know, fun little things that make the class easy to remember. He doesn't try to trick you badly on tests. He will make up words on some of the answers that may seem right but they aren't.
The notes are up on an overhead with a transparency...since he doesn't use a computer for class. He calls them cornfusin.
Anyway...this is a great class, it's a lecture mostly based on health care providers...stuff you will actually use in the real world...Such as ABGs, TSH levels, etc.
He gets a 10/10 in my book!

He is an awesome professor that actually cares about his students. He takes the time to make sure you understand the material and there is never any trick questions to his tests. If you want to get an A it is worth the drive to Glasgow from main campus

This class is not an easy class, but of all the professors that teach it I would definately say take Biggers! He is slightly scatter brained but overall he is a Great professor that really knows the material. He does give a lot of notes but you should expect that with a course of this level. He only tests over his notes. You should take notes over what he says as well as what he has on the overhead projector. Draw his pictures becuase he likes to have you draw diagrams on the tests. He gives a curve on all of his tests. Expect to have to study and come to class even though there isnt an attendance policy.

This class is Hard, but he does a good job of teaching the material. There are A LOT of notes however for the topics being covered that is to be expected. He does test over his notes. You need to know the majority of what he tells you to put into your notes. He expects you to take notes off of the overhead projector as well as what he is talking about. I suggest you draw the weird little pictures he puts on the board becuase he likes to have you draw diagrams on the tests. He only gives tests there are no other assignments. He doesn't have an attendance policy but if you don't come to class you will quickly fall behind! He gives a big curve on tests as well. You should also know he makes perverted comments all the time but they aren't directed toward people in the class.

This is a Difficult class to start with but Mr. Biggers made everything easy to remember. I took him during the Summer which helped out a lot also! It's a real laid back class. The tests were multiple choice mostly with a few t/f and fill in the blank! I would recommend this to anyone!!

I'm not going to say that Anatomy was an easy class, because it wasn't. I think that any Anatomy class you take, there will be studying required. I took this class as a Summer course and Mr. Biggers was great! I would recommend him to anyone! Just keep in mind that if you are taking the class as a Summer class, it is more fast paced and you will need to be ready to move along quickly. But this also has it's advantages because I think Mr. Biggers cut a lot of info out that wasn't really necessary to pass the class. Take all of the notes that he puts up and you will be fine. I bought the book but I never opened it for this class, but I have Advanced Anatomy on main campus next semester so I got the book for both classes. HIGHLY recommend Mr. Biggers, he will help you out if you need it!

Lots of notes, not a techy teacher. Very funny instructor, easy if you show up, listen and take notes. Final was open book (if you bought one), and open notes.

Mr.Biggers is a great teacher. He is very enthusiastic and willing to help if asked. He uses mostly his notes for tests. Study all the material which he gives you and you will be fine. It is a lot of material and you have to be dedicated. No recommendation on taking it in the summer because of the amount of material vs. the length of time you have to prepare.

Anatomy & Physiology is tough, but if you'll go to class, take notes, and study a couple of hours for the test, you'll ace the lecture part of the course. The lab is pretty hard (but all A & P labs are hard). You'll have to study a whole lot for them, especially the bones and muscles exams.
Mr. Biggers is a really good professor to have for the course. He takes difficult concepts and makes them easy to understand. If I had to take the class over, I'd definitely take Biggers!

Mr. Biggers was a GREAT teacher! I took this as a summer course and it flew by. He really tones down the complexity of the information and throws in neat hints on how to remember things. His class is fun and he is overall a sweet, down to earth professor. I highly recommend him!

Mr Biggers is awesome! A and P is difficult and he really breaks it down to where you can understand it. He offers to stay after to help you out if you need it. His tests aren't that difficult if you study the notes. I would suggest him to anyone that is willing to work hard and have fun while in class. The class truly has been the best class I have taken so far!

Dr. Biggers is awesome. He has a lot of energy so you probably won't fall asleep. Bio 131 is a difficult course no matter who you have. I took it as a summer class. He was highly recommended to me by several other people. There are bunches of notes, and he usually goes by the notes for tests so you could get away without buying the lecture book. Save the lab and lecture book both if you buy them for 231 if you have to take that.
