Wilkins himself is not the best teacher I've ever had, but one could look over that simply because the tests that he has in the library are IDENTICAL to his current test, the problems just have different chemicals, etc. His curve sets an A at 87%, so you have a good chance at success. I would recommend him, but you will have to study and memorize how to do his old tests!! If you do that, you'll be fine!

One of my most favorit teachers ever. His class structure is great. He really wants you to learn and understand. You can call him at home at midnight to ask him about chemistry and he'll be more than happy to help you I know because i did. If you go to class and take notes, do the work sheets and old test there is no doubt that you'll pass the class with an A.

First things first, this guy does not teach this class well at all. He doesn't explain things at all. He kinda mumbles out his lecture and works out a problem on the board and then when he is finished he says this is how you do it. There is no method that he teaches you. On the other hand I would recommend him over any of the other chem teachers b/c his old tests are posted in the library which is great b/c his old test are exactly like the new ones you will be studying for. Also he has a built-in curve which is like an 88 and above is an A, 75-87 is a B, 60-75 is a C and 45-59 is a D or something like that.

Wilkins is very nice and helpful. He gives you notes that cover exactly what you need to know, and he goes over handouts to help you understand. If you practice his old exams from the library, his tests are very easy.

Great teacher! Tests are difficult but I would recommend copying his past tests from the libraries. The tests are almost exactly the same. You will have to attend class and study. He will gladly talk to you after class!

Wilkins does not explain anything and does not clarify himself well... If you don't like to study a week in advance for a test, then I would find another teacher... He is not the worst but not the best...

Take advantage of Dr. Wilkins old tests. The tests are very similar. Your best chance of excelling in the class is to show up for class, do the homework, and practice taking the old tests.

He is really easy because his old tests in the library are all you need to study. He will give sample quizzes that will look just like the real thing. Take him if you want an A

I really liked Dr. Wilkins except for how he handled his tests. The tests were at night and if you had night classes, you would have to take a remake of Dr. Wilkins tests, which he made alot harder than the original tests that the class took. The tests in class I made A's on; however, on his remakes, I made a B and a C. He won't let you take the tests early if you have a night class, you are forced to take the harder test.

Dr. Wilkins is a great teacher and knows his stuff. Very nice man and reachable outside of class and very helpful at that. Would recommend to all. Grading scale is 87+ = A; 73-86= B; 54-72=C and so on. Tests are usually out of more than 100 possible points, so you can get extra if you study hard. Studying is a must.

Dr. Wilkins taught this course very well. He gives several handouts, and doesn't cover irrelavant material. His old exams are also avaliable on file in the library. An 87% or above is an A, and his tests offer a 107 possible points usually, so extra credit is possible. Good class.

Dr. Wilkins did not teach the information very well, so a group of people in my class would get together before each exam or quiz and teach the stuff to each other. The only perk to the class is that all of his previous exams were on reserve in the library, and they are all the same. That was the only way that I did well in the class.

Great teacher. He teaches with a variety of methods to get the info across to the students. He grades with a built in curve so a high B is an A automatically. Always willing to talk with you outside of class for hours if you need it - you can even call him at home. He is a great guy.
