Okay, pre-professional people, listen up. Dr. Pesterfield is by far, the best professor you can have if you want to be prepared for any graduate exam you need to take. He has written questions for the ACS exam, a national standardized test. He has written text books, he does Kaplan MCAT, PCAT classes. He knows what you need to know, and he knows how to teach it to you. The question is, are you willing to work roughly 2 hours everyday just strictly on chemistry? This class is very rewarding, but it is hard as hell. For those of you who failed the class already and blamed it on him...it's not Pesterfield that made the class hard. It was the class itself. It covers 12 chapters of material...in 14 weeks. Basically, this means you cover a chapter a week. The class moves fast, and if you don't want to get ran over by the class, you have to keep up. Go to class, if not, you'll be very far behind. Good luck (By the way, I'm only half way through the class right now, but I have 100%).
