While you do take a lot of notes, he makes it easy to decipher what will end up being essay questions (just listen for compare & contrast...). The 3 tests consist of 5 ID terms (brief description and its signifigance to history) and a couple of essays.He's a really cool teacher and obviously well-qualified. I skipped a lot of classes and never opened the book and got a B. The term paper isn't too bad, but a lot more work than anything else in the class.
