Additional Comments |
Dr. Plummer definitely knows an immense amount of information about history. Her lectures were interesting, but the class was overly difficult for a 100 level. There were 2 textbooks in which the class was usually supposed to read about 20 pages out of each book before each class. We read 3 other books (Song of Roland, Trial and Death of Socrates, and Utopia) and took quizzes on them, and there were 2 map quizzes. Out of 10 essay possibilities we were required to write 5 essays throughout the semester using primary source documents that were in one of the textbooks. If you do not like to study history (like me) take another professor, but if you do you might enjoy Dr. Plummer's class.
