Dr Dietle is one of Western's great professors. Though his class was tough (meaning that you actually had to do the reading), it was not unbearable and if I studied a tad harder I could have made an A. Class discussions were always interesting and Dr. Dietle has good sense of humor. You can tell he really loves what he teaches and wants his students to understand the subject. I am not a history major, but I did find the class useful in approving my critical thinking skills.
