Easy A. Simmons is a very sweet lady. There's tons of extra credit offered. Probably won't need it though because her exams are straight from the notes.

Mrs. Simmons knows what she is talking about, and is very flexible with her grading. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT and show up to class, sometimes she gives extra credit for showing up!

Simmons is very sweet! I loved her and her class is very easy, as long as you study for your tests. There are 4, which she gives a study guide for. You have 4 quizzes on blackboard and have multiple attempts at them. Tons of extra credit available if you need it. Take Simmons, the class is an easy A.

I love Dr. Simmons. She is very helpful and a great person. However, she does kind of speak in a monotone, but its not too bad. I would totally recommend her for this course. We had four tests, four quizzes, and two homework assignments. She provides a study guide before each test and makes sure you are fully prepared. I would recommend her to anyone.

Mrs. Simmons is a great teacher. She knows what she's talking about and doesn't care to help you. If there is something unclear she'll take the extra time to stop and help. She has been one of the best teachers I've had at Western.

Mrs. Simmons is a wonderful teacher. For each chapter she posts notes straight from the chapter on Blackboard. If you print off the notes and follow with her in class and fill in the blanks as you go you should have no problems. A week before each exam she posts a review and tells you every single question on the test. The tests are multiple choice and true/ false. No essays or papers for the class. Each week there are 10 point quizzes which are cake. She also gives extra credit if you particiapte in activities at Preston and the Health Services building. She is a wonderful lady and her class is sooooo easy!!!!!!!!! :)

Dr. Simmons is nice, but isn't really the best. Sometimes she doesn't have the answer for your questions, and she has a hard time pronouncing names of enzymes and diseases (pretty comical). You can print of the notes, so thats no biggie. As long as you study your notes really good, you'll do fine. She does assign a few quizzes and homeworks online, but they are cake. She DOES take attendance, soo.. Anyway, the class was fine, but she isn't the most passionate teacher.

First word.....monotoned. This class was super easy but staying awake was the hard part! Take the "practice quizes" online and you'll ace the tests.

This is an really easy class. When class first starts Mrs. Simmons will give you an website. This website is where she gets all the test from. The test are just like the website. All you need to do is study the test on the website and you will do great. There are some questions that she pulls from the book, but it is only like 5 or 6 so I would not even bother. There are aslo quizzes that are before each test. They are on blackboard and you are able to take the quizzes as many times has you want. There is also homework. Each homework is worth 10 points, but if you do all of it you get 25 points which is the extra credit. The notes are also on blackboard so you do not have to write them down during class, but you do have to go to class. It is really not that bad.

She is a really great teacher! She truly cares about her students and is always willing to help you. I bought the book for this class, but I never even opened it. She teaches by powerpoint and she posts the powerpoints on blackboard for you. There is a website you will occassionally have homework from and the internet quizzes on that site is where 90% of the test questions come from. Overall, this class was not hard but you learn alot and it is taught by a great teacher! Everyone should take her!!!

Mrs. Simmons is a very nice professor. There are quite a few powerpoint slides to do notes on, but it isn't really that bad. She let our class use our notes on all of our quizzes and there is a website you can go to and print off quizzes to go along with the chapter. Your tests will come directly from those quizzes. Trust me, if you do not study those quizzes from the website, you will not know anything on the test! I bought the book but never used it. So it isnt really required. The bookstore also gave me a Fast Food Nation book I did not need. This class was pretty easy though.

Ms. Simmons is a really easy teacher. The class consists of power point notes that come right out of the book. She isn't strict at all. She does take attendance, but she doesn't count it against you. The tests are the exact questions from online quizzes that she gives you. This class is really easy.

If you do the quizes on the internet for each chapter and study the questions then you know exactly what is on the test and she lets you use your notes on the quizzes. She gives notes by powerpoint and you take a ton of notes but she is so sweet that you can't help but like her.

Ms. Simmons is really nice. Yeah, she can be a bit boring, but overall, she presents herself and the material well. Human Nutrition is kinda common sense anyway, but she does make it easier to understand. I'd recommend her to anyone.

Nutrition is one of the easiest classes I've ever taken. There are about 4 exams, and she offers extra credit up to 20 points. The tests are so simple- all of the questions come from an online website. You don't need to buy the book. There are quite a few notes, but I recommend this class to anyone. If you need any help, Mrs. Simmons will take her time to help you, she's excellent.

Attendance is taken everyday but is not totally vital. She is nice polite lady. Several however were bored with her class as it is often notes on PPT everyday from the textbook. The tests were harder than one might think but there are some common knowledge ques and she gives a study guide. She gives slightly higher grades than others that teach this and she gives easy homeworks and EC to bring the grades up. Overall not too bad for a gen ed.

Don't get scared by the cumulative final. She will usually give a review and send it out to everyone by email as long as the class asks for it. I put that the textbook is not required, but I bought it. All the notes are directly out of the book, so really all you need to do is take the book and a highlighter to class and you've got them. She pretty much goes in order. There is also a lab that goes with this class and it was a lot of fun.

As long as you take notes, don't bother buying the book, although if you buy the book you don't have to take notes, just highlight what she goes over..word for word.

This class was fairly easy overall. The material can be hard, and a lot to remember, but Dr. Simmons makes it interesting and tries to apply it to life. She gives a lot of extra credit (random quizes, a five pt. quiz before every test, and random assingments). I was dreading this class, but Dr. Simmons made it quite easy, and I learned a lot about the topic. Definitly take her wether its for gen ed, or major stuff.

Ms. Simmons is a very nice teacher. The only problem with the class is this. Mine was a once a week night class, so every week we would go through a whole chapter and after three of four weeks of that we would have to know all of that for the test. Personally, I found this to be a lot of information, but this is more the 'night class' factor than anything. In fact, if you go to every class you get a bonus 2 or 3 points added to your overall grade, which is of course nice. She gets her material from the book, so you can either follow along with her as she flips through it or read it yourself. The tests are fairly hard, and Ms. Simmons has infamously tricky, just some of them, multiple choice. Yet, if you need this class, and apparently a whole lot of nursing people do, than she is an okay teacher, just take your notes are read the material and you should be okay. If you get a choice though, don't go once a week night.
