Additional Comments
Mrs. Kreitzer is a great teacher but she expects a lot from her students. So much in fact that she almost never covers any material from the book. The tests are straight from the book and her power points which are online. All we did in class is watch different movies concerning each region we were studing. She would give us a study guide and the test was exactly like the study guide with added short answer questions concerning the movies.

This class is not really hard it is just a lot of work because you have a paper due almost every other week concerning problems concerning the region being studied. She grades these fairly hard, but you can gain your points back on the map tests.

There were three tests. There was not a final it was just one of the three tests covering about four chapters in the book. She stresses globalization a lot throughout the semester, so pay attention to those facts. Also, we had to do a fifteen to twenty minute presentation with research paper about a particular group of people facing issues with globalization. This was a major part of the grade in the class.
