He has two tests (mid-term and final), and makes you do these really stupid quizzes over the chapters in your book(5 points each). He also makes you do Theme quizzes (10 points each), and grades pretty hard on those. He does not offer any extra credit, and attendance is not mandatory. When he lectures he just stands in front of the classroom and talks about what HE knows about the area.
