Kreitzer is an awesome professor for this course! Attendance really does help, but many people think that studying the power points are enough, wrong! Things that are specifically said during class are on the test too. She has map quizzes periodically, a total of 10 during a semester. The tests do not have maps on them, they are multiple choice/matching. It's not the easiest A, but it wasn't hard.
