Dr. Kuehn is an excellent person but his teaching abilities are lacking in an extreme way. I would not recommend you to take this course. His gives all sorts of notes that do not match up with what is covered on the test. His gives you lots of reading, and if you don't read it you will fail, believe me. He has lots of essay questions and many multiple choice. STAY AWAY!!!

dr. kuehn is a cool professor. his jokes are corny but they still make you laugh. he knows the material well, so pay attention and you will learn a lot. he cares about the students so ask him if you have any questions. overall the class is not that difficult, because dr. k does not put a lot of stress on his students. the fieldtrip at the end is particularly enjoyable, and ties the class together.

Dr. Kuehn is an awesome, caring guy. His subject matter doesn't give him much to work with, but he understands that this course is introductory so he doesn't try to make it difficult. I would reccomend him.

Dr. Kuehn is a brilliant professor and I have to say it takes some skill to make a class about rocks interesting, but he seems to do it. I recommend him to everybody taking geology!

Dr. Kuehn is one of the best professors at WKU. His class was very interesting and he is just a funny and cool guy. A lot of students did not like his "corny" jokes, but I thought he was awesome. I learned a lot about rocks. Speaking of rocks, check out his chest; it is a nice-looking specimen.

Very boring teacher. Perhaps he knows his subject matter, but he does not know how to present the material. Take anyone but him if you have to take anything in the geology department. Not a very likable guy.
