I'm horrible when it comes to foreign languages, but Professor Kiasatpour really helped me to learn French. She is a great teacher! She had patience with everyone in the class and she was almost always in a cheerful mood. She is also taking classes to be a nurse, so she always sympathized with us about schoolwork. On the first day of class, she scared everyone by only speaking French, but don't worry too much. She does talk mostly in French throughout the class, but she will clarify things in English if she realizes that no one has an earthly clue what she just said. The coursework is difficult, so you have to study a lot for the exams and quizzes (there are 3 exams, including the final, and 12 quizzes throughout the semester, but she drops the 2 lowest quiz scores). Even though I had to do a lot of work for this class, I loved it! I definitely recommend taking Professor Kiasatpour if at all possible!
