Dale pushes you to reach your potential or help you go higher into the writing spectrum. Don't believe the weird things you hear about him, he's not intimidating he's more the less excited about his job and he's there to help no matter what. If you feel threatened by him then you've taken him too seriously. You do write at least a paper or two a week but that's what this class is for, using your brain and your writing abilities. Trust me, you'll thank him, you'll be a better more open writer because of Dale. Don't be afraid, give him the chance.
