At first I thought I liked this teacher but boy was I wrong. She talked like she new everything about the world, though she did not. She read students papers out loud while making fun of them and then handed the paper back to the student. On her sylab. she stated that after 4 absenses you get an F, and the only way you could be late for class is if you are bleeding, on fire, or dieing. She also said that she didn't care if your mother died, your grandmother died, or anyone else you know, you should still come to class. That's when I decided to withdraw from the class. As the other post said so well, female Hitler. I warned you!

I must say that as far as learning, I did not learn alot in the class. However, no one should complain that Mrs. Allen is mean or too hard, because anyone should be able to pass that class.

Freshman English is designed to be an INTRODUCTORY English course for the student to get adjusted to college level English, not a three hours class of sexist, opinionative hypocracy in which I was subjected to an entire semester about the events of September 11th. Although it was important, a student tends to get burned out after being subjected to the same material for a month. Sieg Hail mein Fuhrer! Sieg Hail...

The class taken with another teacher would be great. Mrs. Allen is extremely opinionated and will take off from your work and/or put you down if she does not agree with your thoughts. The nicest thing I can say about her personality is she is known in our class as "female Hitler". I feel sorry for anyone who may end up in one of her classes.
