Additional Comments |
Mr. Knifley is an amazing teacher. His style of teaching is pretty laid back. Most of the time our in class work includes discussions over articles we read in class, or bringing in something ,like an article from the web or news paper to discuss. The required text book is a small paper back book that you'll be assigned to read a few pages out of about once a week and be expected to come to class prepared to discuss. The majority of your grade will be based on 4 or 5 papers, but they aren't hard. Most of the papers you do are anywhere from 2-5 pages which isn't bad. He gives a lot of helpful feedback and really helps you to develop your writing skills. If you're looking for an easy yet effective English class, this is the one.
