I really loved this class. Wichman is a super sweet guy and knows a lot about social psych. He only have 7 quizzes for the whole semester and doesn't have a final (the 7th quiz he calls the final but its not cumulative or anything). you have reading assignments throughout the semester but they are really easy and don't take very long to do. A lot of the material on the quizzes come from the study guide he posted on BB. If you complete the study guide you should at least get a B (maybe even a C if you don't really try). The quizzes are difficult because the wording on them are kind weird but its not horrible. I would highly recommend this class to anyone because its pretty easy and very interesting.

This class is painfully boring. He does not take attendance and the notes are posted on blackboard. The homework assignments are easy but the test are IMPOSSIBLE!

Dr. Wichman is....interesting. He is a VERY nice professor and his class can be boring at times because of how simple the notes (which you print off of BlackBoard) are. You have to study for the tests because they can be tough and reading is a must as well due to the fact he will put questions on the tests that specifically ask about something in the book. But fear not, for the writing assigments he has everybody do are very easy and are a great buffer for your grade.
Good Luck

I highly recommend Aaron. He is an amazing professor who makes class interesting and fun. This was my favorite class last semester and I'm hoping to get him next time I take another Psych course. We had a 20 question quiz every one or two weeks, one short paper, and a 100 question final. The quizzes were pretty easy as long as you studied...All the notes are available on blackboard before class. He taught and explained everything very well and is the sweetest guy. Take his class!

I love Professor Wichman. He's so passionate about the subject and wants to help students in every way he can. The class is huge and I feel bad that few come to class on normal days but test days the room is full. You can do that with this class, but I suggest you not. He really wants you to do well so he comes up with great examples that really help you. Pay attention to him and read the book and you'll do great. Just read the book and you'll do good. But I highly suggest taking Professor Wichman. He's such a nice guy and he really cares.

He is a great professor. The class size is huge. He gives study guides before all the tests and he has the page numbers for the test listed on the class schedule. The final is cumulative, however, they are all questions that were on previous tests. He'll let you go to his office and make copies of previous answer keys; if you make copies and study them, there is no way you can fail. He requires one paper at the end of the course, however, it is simple and you will receive a 100 so long as you follow the instructions. He's very kind and cares about your grade. I'd strongly sugget taking his course.

Dr. Wichman is my favorite teacher in this department so far. He always tries to make the subject material interesting to learn, and he does so very well. This class is fairly simple if you attend regularly, but he is really lax about letting people miss classes. The tests in the class are more short answer as opposed to essay and he gives study guides for all of them. Overall, he is a very good professor and I loved having him.

This class wasn't a bunny course. You definitely have to study to do well on the quizzes. There are 7 quizzes throughout the semester and a final at the end, as well as a paper due the last class meeting. (the paper was very easy, as long as you follow directions he gives you a 100 bc the class is so big) He issues study guides, but do not rely on them unless he tells you its okay too. TRUST ME. Study more than the study guide. If you read the assigned pages you should be fine. He's a cool guy, sometimes his lectures are a little boring..but you can tell he cares about you and your grade. Always willing to help. All his tests are multiple choice. His final is the EXACT SAME questions as previous quiz questions. He lets you come to his office to look over the quizzes..so DO IT! Another thing that's nice--he always has your grade posted on blackboard the day of your quiz.

Dr. Wichman is quite an interesting professor. He most definitely knows the material and presents it (via powerpoint; you can get it off blackboard) in ways that college students can understand. I learned more about social topics than I could have ever known than just reading the book. Speaking of the text, it's required and used often.
There are 6 quizzes (exams) over the semester but they're all 7-20 questions and may vary from multiple choice to definitions/examples. He worked with the class, changing the format of the exam each time to cater to the class needs.
There are also critical thinking papers due, about one every two weeks. They're 1-2 pages long over journal articles you get off blackboard.
There is also a final paper (~1400 words) and as long as you paid attention in class it shouldn't be a problem to get an A on it.
The final (quiz 6) is cumulative but only about 20% is actually cumulative.
Attendance is never taken but since we're paying for the courses, it is wise to go and take notes. No extra credit is given.
Overall, Dr. Wichman is an effective professor and I highly recommend him for PSY 350.

This professor was very understanding, the class is HUGE but if you come to class and listen, go back and read the chapter a little you'll do fine. The tests are multiple choice and he gives you a study guide for each quiz that is very useful for the exams. There is one final paper due at the end of the semester but it's not difficult.

He is an extremely boring teacher. All he does is lecture in the most monotone voice for the entire hour and twenty minutes. Everyone that takes his class suffers grade wise. He does make a study guide, and says if you know the material on the study guide then you will be fine, but that is not true at all. I would not take wichman!
