Mrs. Patty is a great person to know. If you take her 8AM class you will be awake by the time you leave her class. She is full of energy and is very happy, which made me happy and wanting to learn about psychology. She gives tons of opportunities to earn extra credit, so don't miss out on those chances. She drops 2 of your lowest test scores, and if you do good throughout the semester you don't have to take your final! But to make a good grade you have to study hard for your tests, trust me, I worked hard to earn my B in the class. But if you listen well and study hard you will enjoy the class!

Patty Randolph was my favorite professor. She has an amazing personality. She's very hyper and bubbly. There are six exams but your two lowest scores are dropped. There are several quizzes, but they are worth no more than about five points. You have very few assignments. And you can earn up to about thirty points extra credit. I highly recommend this class. Patty is awesome!

I loved this class. Patty is very outgoing and pretty random- but she made her class super easy. There are a total of 5 tests plus the final, but she drops the lowest two. You have a quiz at least once a week, but they are only worth 2-5 points and are very easy (this is how your test 5 grade is calculated). HIGHLY reccommend this teacher!

I loved patty she is wonderful teacher she has a really good attitude, this class is a little difficult, but if you attend class everyday and read your chapters you should be in good hands. helps to do concept review

Randolph is a bubbly and very fun teacher. She makes going to class a good experience and I personally thought it was a really easy class, as long as you pay attention and take decent notes and try.

One of my favorite professors by far! She was absolutley hilarious! One that made you not dread coming to class! No real tests, just short quizzes about the reading and a couple of projects.

I love Patty!!! She is awesome and her class rocked. Patty always made class interesting and fun. She gave tons and tons of extra credit. But you do have to exert a little effort to make an A in the class, but it's totally worth it. She likes to put specific/trick questions on the tests and quizzes...but it's not too bad. I never made below an A on any of the tests. If at all possible, take Patty Randolph. You will love it!

I learned so much from Patty. She is always in a great mood and keeps the class energized. You will learn so much from her. You only have to make one A on a test to get an A in the class. There are 7 tests and she lets you drop the lowest two. She gives SO MUCH extra credit!!!!!! I didnt take one page of notes and i got an A. TAKE HER FOR PSYCHOLOGY

Between Patty's energy and understanding of the subject I loved this class more every day I attended. If you are the kind of person who needs structure, don't take her class. If you are a little bit more outgoing you will love Patty. She gives oppurtunities to earn extra credit everyweek! Her tests aren't hard once you understand them. She is the best teacher I've had yet at Western.

As long as you go to class so that you can take her daily quizzes, and you turn in all the projects on time, you will do fine in this class! There are so many chances to get extra credit and to bring up your grade! Also, Patty is really funny and very nice.

I took this class as a night class, which I recommend because it gives you more time and better discussions. Patty does not give tests, however you have a book report, oral report, journals, and final presentation which for real is not that much. She wants people to be open minded, learn, and have fun. I wish I was a psych major so I could have her for more of my classes. Also as an added bonus this class counts as 3 hours PE credit. NO PE CLASSES!!!

Patty is a really crazy professor!! At first, she can be a bit intimidating, but overall she makes this introductory class very enjoyable. I took this class as a bi-mester and had no trouble at all. There were a lot of peopl in my class that struggled, but those people didn't take the time to put effort into projects and a little studying of the book. Its an easy class with by far one of the most interesting professors teaching it. TAKE IT!

I loved this class. My only difficulty i the fact that I am not a morning person, and she was a little too happy for me at 9:30, just cuz I was forced to be awake. I moved to the 2:30 class, and really enjoyed it!!! Her tests are fairly easy as long as you read the material and listen in class, and are very reperesentative of the material covered. She gives large amounts of extra credit, and she's very easy to talk to.

Patty is very energetic but lacks focus and control within the classroom. Her tests are easy once you understand her. A project is required every two to three weeks, but they are not very hard. To get an A in the class; read the text AND TAKE NOTES on it. I don't reccomend taking her if you are quiet and more introverted.

Patty is such an awsome person. She makes the class so much fun. She is a crazy professor, but at the same time makes the class laugh every time. She gives candy everyday for you attending class. You dont need your text book for class b/c she goes over the chapter in class. Even though she does not take attendence, attending class is important. She gives pop quizzes which helps your grade a lot, and most of them she gives you "hints" to the answers! Overall I enjoyed going to her class to sit there and laugh and learn. If you would like a teacher who is funny as hell and somewhat easy, she is deff the pro at it!

Dr. Randolph is a wonderful and happy teacher. She likes to laugh and have fun with her classes. She also gives good notes and nice study sessions. Her relates to her class and gives enough extra credit and assignments to keep you from failing, AS LONG AS YOU GO TO CLASS. She is really good though, I definitely recommend her.

I love Patti. I would take any class that she offers. Getting a good grade is completely up to you, she offers extra credit and will even let you redo some quizzes and what not, if you think you can do better. You'll love her too. And learn something :)

Very fun class where participation and discussion is welcome, but not required. Extra credit opportunities abound as well as the ability to drop one of 4 of the total 5 test scores (there is one you can't choose to drop). Grading is a bit difficult to understand, but don't give up and you'll do fine.

Patty is an awesome teacher and a wonderful person! She is very willing to work with you if you have any problems or difficulty with the class. Her tests are easy if you read the chapters and go to class. She also does a lot of hands on projects during class. She likes neat work and will give you better grades if you put extra effort into it! She has lots of opportunities for easy extra credit. This course has no tests. Every once in a while you have a pop quiz over the chapter for that week. You do projects and in class participation as your grade. I loved this class and she is really fun! Take this as one of you electives! No studying required-just a little of your time for projects is all. Also journaling is due each week!!:)

Patty's class is awesome. In the beginning it seemed overwhelming and a lot of work but it got much easier. It was really fun and I would suggest anyone to take her. It can be a lot of work though, but the work is easy like analyzing your personality using info she gave you!

I have read the other comments and Patty's tests are not as ahard as they say. The assignments she gives are fun and experimental ones. She gives you plenty of time, and even though her class is large, she still knows your name.

patty, as she requires you to call her, is an awesome person and an interesting proffesor, however her class is a lot of work. This is not the class to take if you want to breeze by. A project is assigned about once a week. The sylabis is packed full of "things to do" and tests are very hard. Work is required. Patty's class is quite large and therefore it can be hard to get one on one attention. She is very good about meeting with you and discussing any problems though. A great deal of information can be learned, but do not plan on getting the best of grade.

Patty was an incredible professor like no other. The tests are rather difficult but there is a chance for up to 50 extra credit points. If you get an A in the class you are exempt from taking the final.
