Additional Comments
Health is a subject that could be very painful for a student if the instructor wanted it to be. Dr. Gardner is not one of these professors and wants all of her students to succeed in the class. In this online version of the personal Health class, you take four exams (take them as many times as you would like, but they are hard and very tricky even with a book to help aid you). The exams are not timed and you can save your tests to stop and work on them later. Discussion boards are a major component of the course since there will be 1-3 questions each day that must be answered. Be sure to respond to your classmates' posts too. Other than the exams and the discussion boards, you have nothing else except for writing a health journal (roughly 1-2 entries a day) and turning it in on the last day of the class.

Just be sure that you log on each day, do the work for that day (or work ahead to leave more time for the daily discussion boards) and enjoy the class. Honestly, it is not as rigorous as an upper level English course or an advanced Mathematics course, but it is not supposed to be. PE 100 is a great course if you do not want to take any physical activity courses or need it for your education major. You will learn a lot of valuable information while also learning how to communicate effectively with others.

I wish more courses were set up in this manner.
