Notes are given over powerpoint and attendence is taken each class. He e-mails you a study guide and if you study the notes from the lectures test are passable and the book is not needed. He also gives plenty of extra credit. Study for the test and you should be fine.

Not much to say about Williams. He drops your lowest test and your tests are your only grades so study! He doesnt teach just has you take notes of his power points so I played computer games every class and made a B. Thats not to say you should do that. I already had the notes so i just went to class because he takes attendance. You are required to do out of class studies were professors analyze you and do tests on you. dont buy the book because it is a waste of money. I didnt use it once! Other than that if you have to take psychology than take this guy because he is the easiest trust me!

Mr. Williams is a very boring teacher. He doesn't make the information exciting or make up want to listen. I fell asleep most days in class because of boredom. His tests are VERY hard and you would have to work very hard in his class to get a good grade. He told us that we were going to get 36 extra credit points for this particular assignment, turns out he's only giving us 24, this tremendously hurt my grade.

Mr. Williams was awesome. As long as you go to class and copy the notes from the projector and spend a little time the night before going over them, you should be fine. You will always have a quiz before a test...but its a good thing. The 20 questions that are on the quiz will all be on the 50 question tests!!! That makes it so easy to do well on the test. You do have to do mandatory "research" for the psych dept. but its not too bad. And he does offer some extra cred!!! TAKE HIM!!

He has a weird sense of humor and personality but easy-going. Test questions are straight from the notes. There are quizes before every test. The only thing you need to know going into his class is you can talk him into anything.

Professor Williams is great. If you listen in class, you will have the answers to the test questions. All of his tests are mulitple choice and Extra Credit is available throughout the entire semester. He takes attendance, so be there (sometimes you get some E.C. for coming). You will love his class. I recommend taking him.

I really enjoyed this class! Professor Williams is a great teacher. He teaches off power points and he goes slow. There is a quiz every class time before the test but the questions from the quiz are on the test. He sometimes allows you to take the quiz home. The final is not mandatory but he will curve your grade if you take it and he won't if you don't take it. I learned a lot in this class and I recommend it to everyone.

Mr. Williams is an EXCELLENT professor that I would highly recommend to anyone! He is a very funny guy and makes the subject interesting. There were a lot of notes, but they were very helpful for quizzes and exams. A few of our quizzes he made take-home quizzes, but we did have to do one quiz in class. He also gave out a couple of study guides with a list of terms to know for the tests, but our class did better on the tests when we didn't have a study guide. The quizzes he gives you are 20 questions, and those 20 questions are guaranteed to be on the test. He will also email you the quiz answers so you'll be able to study it before the test. The test questions can be worded kind of confusing, but they are still pretty easy. The final is not mandatory because he drops your lowest exam score and lowest quiz grade. He will also tell you the week before finals what your grade is in the class so you'll know if you want to take it or not. I also heard from one of my friends that she has a B and just because she was going to take the final, he said he would bump her up to an A. Like I said, he is an extremely nice guy. I didn't use my textbook much though, maybe opened it twice so it's really up to you if you want to buy it. I'm sure I would have done better if I would have actually concentrated more in information in the book rather than just my notes, but my book did come in handy a few times. But, I got an A in the class so I was very happy!

I absolutely loved Professor Williams. This class overall isn't hard it's just a lot of notes and remembering what you read. It's not necessary to have a book but I would strongly recommend it. Williams is a really caring and interesting guy. He will work with you if you come to him. He's a funny guy in his own way. The final isn't mandatory if you're satisfied with your grade before the final and if you're not then the final can't hurt you b/c he'll drop your lowest test grade. I wouldn't recommend any other psych professor other than Williams!!! He was awesome!

Mr. Williams is very laid back. He has notes on the overhead everyday and he talks through them. The tests are all multiple choice and as long as you listen they're easy to pass. He'll help with anything you need and it's a really low time demanding class.

I would suggest you take Prof. Williams for Intro to Psych... I will probably end up with a C in his class but I really enjoy him as a teacher... He continuously gives extra credit but will only allow 35 extra credit points... William's test are all multiple choice and are quite difficult but I'd reccommend knowing all of your notes for class and also going back and looking at all the chapters in the book... Attendance is mandatory and I'd suggest that you go just to get points for being there... The final in this class isn't mandatory but it can only help you! He allows you to drop the lowest test grade and the lowest quiz grade.... hope this helps...

He is a little scatterbrained and his class is sometimes boring, but overall he likes psychology and tries to help you out as much as he can. You can go & listen to speakers for extra credit, you have quizzes but he will normally go over what is on it before you take it, and his exams aren't that bad either.

I would not take Williams. His class is not interesting at all. You will want to fall asleep. He is very boring. He thinks he is funny but hes not. You take a test about every 2 weeks. The only good thing about his class is he offers extra credit.

Professor Williams is a great guy. I got a B in his class, but I missed a lot of classes and didn't study very hard for him. He gives a ton of extra credit, and he drops your lowest test grade. Therefore at the end of the semester if you like your grade you don't have to take the final. I never bought the book because the majority of the notes are the readings. I definitly take him!

Dr. Williams was a good teacher but he gave too many notes and not all of the information was on the test. He sends around an attendance sheet because if you don't miss more than 3 classes then you get extra credit but it's not mandatory. Also if you take all the tests and you like your grade without the final then you don't have to take it. Dr. Williams knows how to relate everything in terms that are understandable. He's a great teacher and I would recommend him.

Thomas Williams is an awesome teacher. I loved him. I highly recommend this class. He will even drop your lowest test grade...that includes the final. You take alot of notes but they really help you on the test. I thought this class was very easy and I learned a lot from it. It is also enjoyable to go to. Out of all my classes I will miss this one the most.

This class was Ok I guess. All you have in class is test. The test are 50 multiple choice questions. He will email you a list of words to know. Know everything there is to know and that one word he gives you. He ask like 5 questions over the same thing. He will let you get up to 35 extra points, but nothing ever that. You take alot of notes. There are 7 test plus the final. You do not have to take the final. He will let you take it if you want to. The final is 100 questions and it is over everything. It is not that bad. He tells jokes in class and he thinks that he is really funny but he is not funny at all. This class is really boring. He does not make it fun at all. Don't ever email him cause he will never email you back and sometimes he will yell at you if you eamil him to many times, so be careful about that. Do not buy the book. It is a waste of money. He does not use it. He gives you enough notes. That is about it. If it was me I would not take this class. There are better teachers out there.

This was my first semester at Western, and Mr. Williams is my favorite teacher. He is so nice. Everyday in class you will take notes. If you miss less than 3 days you receive extra credit. He offers a lot mor extra credit throughout the semester. He emails review sheets before every test, provides you with the scantrons. All the test are 50 multiple choice questions. The final.. I havent taken it yet but it is 100 multiple choice questions. You have 8 test including the final. you get to drop your lowest test grade, even if its your final. If you are satisfied with your first 7 test, you don't have to take the final! TAKE MR. WILLIAMS!!!!!

Professor Williams is an awesome teacher. Attendance isn't mandatory, but if you don't miss more than 3 days he gives you 10 points extra credit. He also offers many more extra credit opportunities. He gives a review for every test, and they come straight from the notes. You have a total of 6 tests, but he drops the lowest test grade. So if you do good on the first five tests, you don't have to even take the final. I definitely recommend him to anyone who is taking Psychology 100. Mr. Williams is great--very easily one of my favorite professors. He is sweet, funny, and very personable. He lectures using power-point, and makes his tests straight from the notes. This is not just an easy A. You actually have to read the book. However, if the test grades are low there are multiple chances to earn extra credit in this class. He gives 5 tests. If all of the tests are taken and so is the final then he will drop the lowest test score. If you miss one of the tests then you have to take the final. Or if you are happy with your grade after the 5 tests then you don't have to take the final at all. Mr. Williams is a funny man! He has a very dry sense of humor. And he is quiet so if there are loud people in the class then he is not mean enough to tell them to be quiet.

I enjoyed the class-it was very interesting, and i didn't mind going at all. Prof. Williams is a goofy guy but he makes the class enjoyable. If you need a good gen ed class, chose this one for sure! You take quizes every week, but you get to drop your lowest 5. You also take 6 tests (including the final) and he'll drop your lowest grade, which means if you do good/decent on the first tests you take, you won't have to take the final!!!

I really enjoyed this professor. He knows his stuff. All of the information you need for the tests is covered on the notes, which are not that hard to take. He puts his notes on the overhead, which makes it that much more easier. He likes discussion in his lectures, and generally will make the class reeally interesting. If you try, he'll bend over backwards to help you. He really works with you. There is extra credit, and as far as the tests, generally the class before the test, he has a review in which he covers everything on the test. I failed the class, but it was because I had some difficulty and couldn't go like I was supposed to. His class is pretty easy. I am taking him again. I really recommend him.

Mr. William's class is super easy, you have a lot of notes to take but he gives you time to copy them straight off the overhead. You will have 15 quizzes and you drop your lowest 5. And you have 5 or 6 test and you get to drop your lowest test score. If you are satisfied with all of your test scores then you don't have to take the final. Thomas Williams is the nicest professor ever! He gives a lot of notes but it helps a lot when it comes to study time for the tests. He e-mails review terms that will be on the test with enough time for you to study them then reviews the test the day before and answers any questions. He has a great sense of humor and makes learning the information really interesting!

He goes over everything that will be on a test the day before. He drops one test grade. If you like the grade you have in the class, and you hadn't dropped a test, you don't have to take the final. Williams is a great guy. He is funny and really enjoys teaching and it shows. I am so glad I had him first thing in the morning, he made me enjoy being in class. Not only is his class fun, but its easy too, I hardly read the book at all, just study his notes and I have a high B. He only teaches this class and it is early in the morning, but it is worth it. Plus attendance isn't mandatory, but he does give extra credit for going.

He is an AWESOME professor. I didn't even buy the book and I've gotten over 100 (he gives 5 pts. extra credit if you write a few sentences about something in the chapter you found interesting) on the first 2 tests. The tests are exactly from the notes, and he sends out a list of review terms (aka EXCATLY what's gonna be on the exam) before each test. He's also very friendly. A few mornings before class he'd come sit down and talk to me in the lobby. He doesn't try to shove liberal ideas down your throat, as many psy professors generally do. Very down-to-earth guy. TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!

EASY class! I probably attended class 50% of the time and my average was above 100%. 14 quizzes the whole year, and you get to drop your 4 lowest and maybe even retake one. 4 tests, plus a final...you can also drop one test or choose to not take the final if you're happy with your grade. He does take attendence occasionally, but it isn't important. Show up for review days and take good notes, he tells you exactly what's on the test. You have to apply some effort and study some, but overall it's a great class to take if you're looking for an easy A gen-ed class.

He has 14 quizzes throughout the semester that come straight from the notes, then you get to drop 4 of them. There are 4 tests worth 100 points and you are allowed to drop one of them. Professor Williams is a good guy that knows his sh*t. People took notes in the class which was stupid because EVERYTHING he says comes out of the book. A highlighter is all you will need. He has a quiz or two over every chapter but you can drop 4 at the end of the semester. His final is just another exam and you can drop one of those as well.
