Additional Comments |
Let me make one thing clear right off the bat. Ramos is a genuinely funny guy. He's very nice. One thing he isn't cut out to be is a professor.
His notes are jumbled, and he races through them. Quite often his written English makes tests and quizzes far more difficult then they should be. His guidelines for submitted work are EXTREMELY stringent. If you do not meet even one of his convoluted demands, you can rest assured that you will lose points. Honestly, he's likely just trying to make his course more significant than it actually is.
If you are overweight, do not take this class. He will make powerful physical demands, as well as mental ones. If you can't walk over a mile in fifteen minutes, just don't bother. Sign up for bowling or something.
This is not an easy A, and the only reason that is true is because Dr. Ramos wants his class to have the same academic clout as , say, Biology or Literature. It is easy to see through the facade, and very frustrating to endure.
