Dr. Hughes is a great professor. She really teaches great grammar, and knows what she is doing. I really enjoyed her class, as well as the people in it. She makes things fun and she does not care to say what is on her mind. She grades papers a little rough, and there is no final unless you want to take one to bring up your grade. She does have a few books, but they are small and not that expensive. If you want to learn, take her, but if you want to just get by, I would not suggest it. If you take her class, there is no doubt that you will come out knowing something.
