Ms. Griffing is a wonderful teacher. She is very good at what she does and she has a true love for both math and teaching. She makes it a point to let her students in on the developments is her life and she is really fun to be around. She has all of these little sayings that help you to remember the things that she teaches you and she is goes over all of her reviews and always allows time out of every class to go over any homework problems, test problems, or quiz problems that you didn't understand. If there were more teachers out there like her then college would be a blast all together. As for her class, it is the best class I've took here at Western and I highly recommend her to evryone else. By the way, good luck on your wedding Ms. Griffing.

Mrs. Griffing is a very helpful and sweet teacher. The review guides for the tests were practically idential to the tests, just with different numbers. She explains everything very clearly so you will understand it. Doing the homework helps a lot, even if she doesn't grade it. Several times she gave students who were in class points on a quiz or test if attendance was low for that day--so go to class! Great teacher overall!

Mrs. Griffing is the best math teacher I have ever had, better than my high school math teachers. She is very easy to follow and will work out any problem on the board that students are having trouble with. Once, she went through an entire worksheet. She gives about 10 quizzes but before every one there is a practice quiz, which is the same as the actual quiz, except for the numbers are changed. Her tests are like this too. I reccommend Mrs. Griffing to anyone who must take math 116.

Miss. Griffing is one of the best teachers I have ever had in a math class. She once was a high school teahcer, so she kind of teaches like that. You don't have to go to class, and you can always get notes from someone else. However, one time I went to class and there was only like ten people there, so she gave us all extra credit. Before every test, she gives a practice exam and the problems are the same on the REAL test, but just differnt numbers. Overall, she is a great teacher, and I would highly suggest taking her.

Ms. Griffing is a really good teacher, and she makes sure you know what she is talking about. She is very thorough when she teaches the material. The homework is not necessary, but helpful. She gives quiz and test reviews that are in the exact form as the quiz/tests. She goes over everything plenty, and she is willing to help after class. I would highly suggest you take Ms. Griffing. She really is a great teacher.

Ms. Griffing is awesome. She is super nice, and goes really slow on teaching everything. She is really neat and organized, and will explain things five times if you need her to. Attendance is not required, but you would be stupid not to go. The final is cumulative and required, but she gives you a review sheet for each test, and the final, and it is exactly like the actual tests, just with different numbers. I would take her for any math course.

Mrs. Griffing is an amazing math teacher. She makes equations and formulas very easy to remember and breaks problems down to a very understandable level. She is always smiling and friendly, which is very helpful if you have her bright and early in the morning like I did!
Her tests do cover a lot of material, but this IS college, you know! She gives a very extensive review before each test and a practice quiz before each quiz.
Don't miss the class, because if you do it might be hard to catch up. As long as you pick up on math concepts fairly easily and attend class, you should pull an A with no problem!

Ms. Griffing is the best Algebra teacher ever. I'm not good in Math at all and she just has some way of explaining the material so that it is easy to understand and you get it. I know she's in high demand so you have to try hard to get her but if you do it'll be great! Good Luck!

Mrs. Griffing is wonderful. She explained everything to the fullest amount. I would recommend her to anyone who is bad in Math, she is a really great teacher. If you have to have 116 take her. She gives study guides for the test which are the same format just different numbers. If you do the study guides and practice you will pass no problem.

This was a great class. She does a wonderful job teaching the material. She doesn't care if you come to class or not but she does give quizzes usually once a week. She gives a practice quiz on the day before that is almost identical and practice tests before each test and goes over all the answers the day before. I definitely recommend her, I hardly ever went to class and still got an A.

Ms. Griffing is a wonderful teacher. She gives 4 exams and 1 comprehensive final. For each exam she provides you with a review sheet which is set up exactly like the test so you know what to expect and what to focus on while studying. Ms. Griffing has a very positive attitude and is always willing to answer questions and help her students in any way she can. I highly recommend taking Ms. Griffing for 117.

I really enjoyed Griffing. She's moves along at a pretty good speed, but it's not that bad, if anything it just keeps you awake and paying attention. I've never had a problem keeping up and she'll stop and answer questions/go over things at any time. You have 4 tests and a final. She gives you a review before every test, which is just like the test. You do have homework every night, but it's not graded, it's just for your benefit. You also have about 10 or 15 quizzes, but you get to drop 2. Overall she's a really nice person and pretty funny at times.

Ms. Griffin is an excellent teacher. She is very nice and understanding. She will help you with anything. You take 12 quizzes and you can drop 2 of those scores. She always gives a review sheet before a test. You only have 3, plus a final. And before quizzes, she gives pratice quizzes. I highly reccommend her.

Ms. Griffing is the absolute best math teacher that I have ever had. She goes at a pace that is easy to keep up with and to understand. She always makes up exam reviews that are almost identical to the tests. She is very nice and understanding. She always answers any questions that you have about a problem. She has tests and quizzes graded the very next day and she goes over them with you. You also get out of class early almost everyday. I would recommend her to anyone, especially students who have trouble with Math.

Mrs. Griffing is really an excellent 116 professor. You do take notes, you MUST pay attention in class-she moves through the material quickly, but she is very thorough, and anyone with any type of algebra background should be able to do well in this class. She doesn't put up with bs, and missing her class is a big mistake, but if you want to learn this material, and you are willing to put in a small amount of study time on your own, it's really easy.
