Some reading assignments and in-class exercises seem a bit trivial, but really do help with writing papers. There are 4 out of class papers and 2 in-class. She isn't too tough on grading. If you participate and try to challenge yourself or express some creativity in relatively dull writing assignments you will do just fine.
