This man is great. I loved this class. It is important to come to class to successful in this class because at the time he did not put his notes online. But his test was all from the notes in class. You could do well w/o the book.

I never really read the modules b/c he goes over most of the notes in class but the study book that comes w/ the textbook is extremely helpful when you study for the tests. Graves is awesome and so funny!

i am the type of person that likes interactive learning and with mr. graves that isn't gonna happen. obviously. our personalities didn't click so that may have been the problem. all you do is write the notes off the overhead and you're done. i was bored most of the time and didn't get anything out of the class. this was the second time i had to take it but the first time i took it, i got more out of it.

Tests were too hard in my opinion for a 100 level class. When im making better grades in my 400 level classes than in a freshman class something is wrong. Couldnt stand the class, extremely boring and monotone. Graves is a nice guy and there are some XC opportunities but i would try and find another professor if you can
