Just do the homework everynight and come to class. The homework usually takes 10-15 minutes and is very easy to read. She makes you do comment cards but they only take about 5-10 minutes and boost your grade big time. Just come to class and pay attention. I would have gotten an A but I skipped the two days we went over Othello and also did not read the material for that part. I missed a whole section of work and still made a B. She is a good, understanding teacher because she is young and was in college not too long ago too.

Ms. White was great! She really connects to her students. She can be a little unorganized, but I really liked her. She understands students have lives, and is very flexible. I am going to try to get her for my 200 level class.

I loved Mrs. White and would recommend her to anyone! She's very laid back and has a good sense of humor. Every day there is usually material that you have to read and you either have quizzes, which are very easy if you read, or comment cards due. These are ways to boost your grade that are extremley easy. Tests aren't too bad, if you do the reading and pay attention in class, you'll be fine!

Just don't even waste your time taking her..... Please! She likes a select few in the class and she treats everyone unequal. She even admits that she doesn't want to be there half the time and I'm just thinkin' : then why the hell did you pick this career. If you are a Distinguished writer then don't worry about it, otherwise.....You better have access to already written papers on the internet cause she grades hard.

I am a science major and I hate english, but Mrs. White made it easier on me to adjust to college writing since I am a sophomore and I haven't had english since high school! She gives little quizzes over the reading to help boost your grade, she'll let you re-write an out of class essay, and if you take the optional in-class essay at the end, she'll drop your lowest in-class one. That made 4 in-class essays and 3 out of class essays total. Don't hesitate to ask her for help or come by her office, because that always scores extra points with professors!

Take Mrs. White!!! She's awesome, and you'll enjoy her class. There is a lot of reading and writing, but she really does make it easy to do. We finished the semester early, so we got a whole week off! You'll love her...

Ms. White is awesome. There are no tests in her class, but she might give a few quizzes. It's mainly just writing essays. Bull-shit writing doesn't fly with her at all so really try but other than that, it's a pretty easy course. She's very laid back and understanding.

Prof. White is a great lady. She is very funny and is fairly understanding. You have to read in her class, but you know about everything in advance. She provides a Syllabus. I would definately recommend taking her. She is Easy. Your final is a Portfolio, which will contain one outside of class essay and one in class essay. You will wirte about 5 in class esseys and about 5 outside class essays. She is great!

Great teacher. She is young and knows how to relate to her students. I didn't try very hard thats why I got a C. She can grade kinda hard but anyone could pass this class. If you get the chance, take her!

Ms. White is an excellent teacher. She really cares about her students and makes the transition from high school to college less painful. You only have to write 6 or 7 essays and take a few quizzes. She can be a tough grader, but lets you rewrite your out of class papers for better grades. I learned a lot in her class. I would recommend her to anyone.

All you have to do in this class to get an A is do well on the in class and out of class essays, because that is pretty much all the work she gives.

Mrs. White is a young teacher and it shows in her class. There are no tests, you just have to write 6 essays and then choose one for an exit essay to pass the class. She picks fun writing topics. She's a fun teacher and lets us out early.

Ms. White is an easy teacher and holds a fun class. She is a younger teacher (here 3 years I think) and doesnt mind getting off track and picking fun topics to write on. For the class all you really have to do is turn in the 7 or 9 essays by the end of the term and write your final exit essay and you pass.There are not really any tests over the semester. Very easy class and extremely nice teacher.
