Genuinely one of the nicest men on campus. An excellent teacher who makes the class interesting and actually cares about his student's success. One of the finest teachers on campus. Take this professor!

Of all of the French teachers I have had at Western, Dr. Babcock stands out as far and away the best teacher of any. His tests are good indicators of your knowledge and he is very fair in his grading. In class readings and assignments are punctuated by stories and humor, while still educational. He deserves a raise!

Babcock is a fun teacher. This was my first time taking French and he made it a good experience. You learn but he doesn't cram a lot of stuff down your throat. He even throws in some of the French culture. It's not your boring foreign language class if you Know what I mean.

I already knew a little French, so it was really easy. He was so nice and was funny in that bad-joke kind of way. I recommend if you need a foreign language. Enjoyed!
